Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: WP won’t install on IISThanks very much for your reply and advice.
Can I just ask whether I will need to create a MySQL database manually before visiting the WordPress installation?
I’m very used to a Linux environment and to setting up WordPress using CPanel, Web Hosting Manager and similar tools, so the Windows environment is really frustrating me.
This time, I am actually being asked by my boss to move their previously functional WordPress blog from their old Windows server to a new one, and I was going to approach it as a fresh WordPress install, before trying to restore the backup of the old blog. But maybe there’s a better way?
Thanks!

Sorry for the hassle but WordPress says I have installed 1.9.0 already, along with CVPro 3.9.7.1
What do I need to look for, to have all the rows expanded?
Thanks again!
Hi,
This is exactly what I want to do with CV, the list displaying as non-collapsible.
I tried to download the file referred to above but the link goes to a 404.
Please can someone clarify and reiterate how to achieve this?
Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for your response and helpful advice.
It sounds like it might give me a solution, but your step 1 mentions spanning from the start to end date. We, however, need the recurring events to be, for example, every Tuesday in August – not August 1st to August 31st, with the recurring events as the dates for each Tuesday.
Does that make sense and do you think your suggested solution will still work?
