In reply to: website hacked and unable to change password to log back inGreat news.
Don’t forget to go through the whole site if you can and make sure any php files are not hanging around so that they can get in again.
Also keep WordPress and all your plugins updated as much as possible.
All the best for the future.

In reply to: website hacked and unable to change password to log back inCheck your folder permissions with FTP and also try replacing the WordPress core files.
Also make sure there are no plugins you don’t recognise.
Other than that you may have to contact a dev somewhere.

In reply to: website hacked and unable to change password to log back inThey could of hacked the files so the login page doesn’t function maybe? Strange one.
I would suggest saving your theme folder and reinstalling the WordPress directory completely.
Just be careful when readding your theme folder because it’s likely that the original hack happened there.
Good luck.

In reply to: wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 87Hi there,
Looks like your site may be infected with malware. The error may be from malicious code in that file.
Can you or someone you know sort this? You may need to download the site and scan it. If there are a lot of infected files then you may need to reinstall a fresh WordPress and go from there.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: swagger theme show wordpress failure notice when try to uploadingJust make sure there is not another folder called ‘swagger’ inside the SWAGGER THEME (unZIPED) folder.
If there is upload that one to /themes/ instead.

In reply to: swagger theme show wordpress failure notice when try to uploadingIt should have a folder in called something like ‘swagger’ which should contain the theme files (page.php, single.php etc)
Upload that folder to /wp-content/themes/
I use FileZilla to FTP but there are plenty out there.

In reply to: swagger theme show wordpress failure notice when try to uploadingHi vinsp,
Make sure you are only uploading the theme zip file and not the file with all the docs and demos in it. If that is the can the zip file should contain another zip file with the actual theme files in.
If you do upload the theme via ftp you will need to unzip it first. And again make sure it’s just the theme files.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: Error code on my siteHi There,
I’ve had this problem before.
Try installing a fresh wp-config.php. You’ll need to copy the database credentials over but install some new security keys.
I got a new copy of wp-sample.config.php and copied it.
Hope it works ??
