OpenMenu

We are going to add shortcode support in the next release.

You need submit changes to your menu (you are in total control of when changes get pushed live:

menu_filter and group_filter need quotes around what you are filtering. Also, your omf_url is not valid – nothing should be showing.

Sorry, but it’s too hard to troubleshoot without you showing exactly what you are using.

Use the menu filter too to filter out that specific Menu you want to display only. So basically you’ll use a combination of both a group and menu filter.

404 has something to do with your WordPress install (most likely permalinks).

Try recalculating your permalinks or publishing the page with the menu.

The link you posted does work. Click the link and the OpenMenu is displayed (XML version of a menu that powers our solutions).

That Test URL should work. You haven’t describe what you are doing with the test OpenMenu. Have you published the post? Try that. Did you recalculate permanlinks after installing OpenMenu. Try that.

Basically, we just need more information before we can assist.

If you’re using the WordPress plugin then you don’t need to use OpenMenu Embedded since the plugin handles everything and much more. OpenMenu Embedded is for embedding our menus anywhere you may not have access to ‘install’ something.

Just use our custom OpenMenu post type or shortcode to render your menu on your WordPress based site.

When you contact them just send the exact code you’re testing with and a link to the page it’s used on.

They may even ask to become an admin on your blog as they can look and fix your issues for you.

Means one of two things:
1) You’re not using the proper URL to your OpenMenu
2) Your OpenMenu has not been officially made live – you may have had issues when you submitted it.

If it’s #2 you’ll have a note in your account as to what to fix.

In WordPress just use the Menu Filter to show only one menu. Then create posts, using filters, to have each menu separated.

In Facebook use the ‘Activate Menu Switcher’ option.

We are releasing a new version of the plugin this weekend which should fix most of the naming conflicts.

This will be fixed in the next release – we will push out a quick-fix update in the next day or so.
