In reply to: [Tutor LMS - eLearning and online course solution] make certain fieldsThat would be great, thank you! Ideally, we would like to customize fields in the registration form. In the meantime, I am creating my own registration form to collect the information, and entering instructors manually.

In reply to: [Tutor LMS - eLearning and online course solution] make certain fieldsYes, please, I would like to know this as well. I cannot simply accept instructor registration without knowing anything about the person who wishes to teach. This seems like a very simple fix to include in an update, rather than requiring your customers to rewrite php.
Thank you, they got it! Appreciate your quick response, cheers!
I’m really sorry I clicked to speed up my site. Doing this deleted all my site’s logos, menus, and typography. Only my content remains.
I’m using 14.0.4 on the site. Another site I have 14.0.4 on but didn’t click to speed up has no problems at all. It’s after clicking to optimize that the problems happened.
I’ve deactivated the plugin and cleared caches, and the problem persists. Do I have to rebuild my site? I sure hope not.
UPDATE: I reinstalled a backup database and that took care of the issue. Only a minimal amount of re-do.

In reply to: [10WebPlayer] Notification of errors with 10Web pluginWell, I guess the thing to do is wait for the update, because that file does not exist anywhere on my site (updates.php). Only an image folder, style.css and ytwd_update.php are in that folder. I hope the update takes that into consideration. Looking forward to it, as I love this plugin!

In reply to: [10WebPlayer] Notification of errors with 10Web pluginI have looked in the folder you note above but there are only three items:
folder: images
file: style.css
file: ytwd_update.phpNo file exists there as updates.php.
screenshot: https://gyazo.com/cd1877b9bbef13125baa94c460bece24I’m getting the same error message and am wondering if it is linked to a couple of other plugins not working about the same time I last updated this plugin.
Thanks for any help. I’m willing to uninstall completely and reinstall but would rather fix it without having to set up a dozen playlists manually again.

In reply to: [Shared Counts - Social Media Share Buttons] overwriting excerptsUpdate: I switched the excerpt to lazy loading and that has seemed to fix the issue. Not ideal but it works.
Thank you so much (again)! I’ll give this a try on my next post. I appreciate very much your clear explanation and quick help ??

Found the right file under Appearance/Edit. Feeling a lot more confident after that! I love the plugin and have seen many people using it already. Thanks for everything.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Rate My Post - Star Rating Plugin by FeedbackWP] overwriting excerptslol, ok, I’ll contact them. I am using a child theme but there’s only function.php and style.css under that folder. I’ll need further assistance on this, so I’ll contact them with the info you provided. Many thanks!

In reply to: [Rate My Post - Star Rating Plugin by FeedbackWP] overwriting excerptsOk, this is something new for me but I’m up for figuring it out! I understand what you’re saying about using the plugin, and I’m happy to put in the shortcode to the template… just need some guidance.
I’ve located a file called template.php in wp-includes, is this what I’d need? None of the other file types are listed, but they are all within this file. I’ve never altered a php file so not sure what to do. Could you point me in the direction? Do you need me to copy some code here to show you what I’m looking at?
Thanks so much for the help.
Thank you
I’m interested in doing this, too. I tried using the “add new service” link on the WP settings page, but am not sure what the service URL is.
