Do I need to delete the plugin to be secure, or is deactivating enough? And if I do delete, will all the folder assignments still be saved and present if/when there is a new version of the plugin and I install that?
Thanks. Good to know.
Good day. I was able to exclude the path for the Quiz and Survey Master plugin (which seems to then exclude ALL the js files in that path). The site works well now, including the survey page. Thank you!
Thank you. I tried re-enabling Minify and using the “Contain…” option you mentioned, but the error returned. I did keep Minify on and disabled processing any of the Javascript (unchecked the “Enable minification of JavaScript files” option), and at least that made the site work.
Tomorrow I will try excluding the Javascript file as you mentioned.
Yes, that worked! Thanks so much.
By the way, here is a URL:
Thanks. I gather from your response that Ultimate Member does not provide access to that screen through its interface.
I guess the “Change English Text in Forms” you mentioned is durable even between version updates?
I have tried using “Say What” (a nice plugin in principle!) for the last 1/2 hour, and used a very simple text to be replaced (“Please check your inbox.” without the quotes), but it seems not to get replaced. I used context of “ultimate-member” without the quotes, as well as trying blank context. Still no change. Thoughts?
What theme were you using, Than1981?

In reply to: [ElementsKit Elementor addons] conflict – Elementor editor not loadingThere is still a conflict between Elementor and ElementsKit Pro, requiring Safe Mode in order for Elementor editing to work. Also, the testimonial slider only works if ElementsKit Pro is disabled. I have updated php.ini values quite a bit:
upload_max_filesize = 256M
max_input_time = -1
post_max_size = 256M
max_input_vars = 8000
max_execution_time = 500
memory_limit = 512MThanks for writing. I did solve item 1.; there is a field in the Registration Form definition, that determines the role assigned to users created by the Registration Form. So, that is now fixed.
I will check for items 2 and 3. But it is strange that the email address cannot be seen. Maybe that is by design as well? It can be edited when the user goes to her/his account fields, so perhaps the developers want the changing of login information and email address to all be in one place.
As far as item 4, it might be called close to being a bug. I am sure there are many organizations where an administrator has the job of adding multiple users. Currently, that is quite difficult; each time a user is added, it logs the person into the new user account. And, there is no easy way to notify the user that they were added and what their password is. Can that be put as a feature request i.e. some kind of administrative user creation mode, that handles these problems?
I can’t wait to see my name in lights!
OK, sounds good. If you wanted just to have a couple of sentences telling people how to handle replacing of the old version, that would still be quite helpful.
Thanks!
Thanks, that did it. Just a suggestion, I think there should be instructions on how to install for those who have the old version. I was afraid to uninstall the old version, for fear some (or all) data would be lost.
Now that I am using the rw version, can I delete the old plugin?
And, in case you did not know it, this is a very useful plugin.

iturtle (and anyone else): after searching around, it appears to be a bug, and the best answer was rolling back the updraftplus version, for now.
