I’m having a problem similar to this as well. My WP installation has been maxing out the SQL connections and putting them into a “Locked” state the Saturday before last. I’ve had to go in to the support chat for site5 every day for over a week to get them to unlock things.
It all began when I upgraded to WP 2.5.1.
I’m running the following plugins (with version numbers)
Ad Rotator 1.0
Akismet 2.1.4
Comments Notifier 1.0
Dashboard: Recent Posts Extended 1.0
Diagnosis 1.2.1
FeedBurner FeedSmith 2.3.1
Google Analytics .60
Diagnosis 1.2.1
FeedBurner FeedSmith 2.3.1
Google Analytics 0.60
Google XML Sitemaps 3.0.3.3 (set to rebuild the map when I change blog content)
pjw-wp-phpmailer-nosender 1.5
Related Posts 2.02
Site Meter 1.01
TanTanNoodles Simple Spam Filter 0.5
Text Link Ads 3.1.0
Woopra 1.1
WordPress.com Stats 1.2.1
wp-cache 2.1.2
WP-DBManager 2.20
I also have a number of deactivated plugins.
It happens most commonly when I publish or edit a post. I did not add any new plugins at that time, though I have since added Diagnosis, WP-DBManager, and Woopra.
My site is https://onthewingsblog.com/.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
