In reply to: [Cache Enabler] webp images not being servedHi Cody, thanks for all your help, it is showing webp now for me in chrome as well. There must be some sort of caching issue or something that’s preventing me from seeing it for a while. Oh well, as long as it works, that’s good.

In reply to: [Cache Enabler] webp images not being servedTanks Cody, good to know it’s working for you. I think I’ll have to assume I’m doing something wrong here or missing something obvious (webp is totally new to me as of yesterday). When I go in incognito mode and open that page and click on the image it takes me to the following page with a jpeg extension; https://www.imagesbyvandam.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/wasaga-beach-engagement-photography-32.jpg
What is your process for confirming it’s a webp on a desktop (on my phone it just shows it when I tap on it). Maybe I’m trying to confirm it’s webp the wrong way. Thanks

In reply to: [Cache Enabler] webp images not being servedOn my android phone they are indeed coming up as webp. On my desktop, however, in chrome, I’m seeing jpegs. ie. here’s a page with just a single image for simplification: https://www.imagesbyvandam.com/elementor-15847/

In reply to: [Cache Enabler] webp images not being servedHi Cody, thanks for your reply. I was having some issues with the images on that page reverting back to their non-compressed state (using shortpixel), so I tried compressing images on a different page and have gotten the shortpixel compression to work this time.
This is the page: https://www.imagesbyvandam.com/portfolio/bluewater-beach-engagement-photography-just-north-of-wasaga-in-tiny-township
When I right click on the images in chrome (open in new window) to inspect them, the image opens as a jpeg, not webp. I can replace the .jpeg suffix with .webp and the webp image is there, but I would have thought it would open automatically open as a webp image.
I have the webp option enabled in cache enabler. ie. box checked that says ” Create an additional cached version for WebP image support. Convert your images to WebP with Optimus.”Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] media library assistant plugin won’t loadHi David, I’m definitely not a wordpress expert, so hopefully I’ve answered the following in a helpful way ??
when I use filezilla, here is the directory structure that leads to my wordpress installation (I’ve substituted “username” for my actual user name here): /home/username/imagesbyvandam.com/wordpress/wp-contentYes, I can access the wordpress Media/Library screen through the link you provided (I am using the plugin “Real Media Library” to enhance my media library interface.)
The debug tab has “0” messages.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] media library assistant plugin won’t loadHi David, thanks for the quick reply! In terms of launching, I’m trying to launch the media/assistant admin screen (sorry, you’re right, I wasn’t that clear in my initial post), but it never opens.
