Thank you. It would be good to get a little info tooltip in the plugin next to these settings so when turning them off you are warned to check the .htaccess.
This issue is resolved now. Thanks

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Exessively Sized Tmp FileOkay, so I updated the plugin again and it seemed like maybe that had fixed it. I checked daily to see if this file had grown out of control. The file grew slowly for the first handful of days, it was a few MB, but I checked again just as I saw this message come in and it’s 13GB.
I checked actions under WooCommerce – Status – Scheduled Actions
Firstly, I see 1,316,161 items.
If I filter using pinterest-for-woocommerce-start-feed-generation I have 345 items. Going through a few pages of the results (annoying this WooCom page doesn’t allow you screen options to increase per page to 200) but I don’t see any errors.
If I go to “Failed” and search for the above I have 0.
I checked pinterest/jobs/generate_feed/chain_batch – Failed (13208)
pinterest/jobs/generate_feed/chain_start – Failed (0)
pinterest/jobs/generate_feed/chain_end – Failed (0)
So the issue appears to be with pinterest/jobs/generate_feed/chain_batch
I can’t tell if they are recent or legacy issues? Also, is it good practice to clean these up from time to time? Does it take up database space?

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Exessively Sized Tmp FileAh, okay, I thought it would surely take hundreds of thousands of products to build up a file that big.
I deleted it last night, I just checked and it’s 12GB now. So I just deleted it again.
I didn’t set up or build this site, I have inherited it and I’m trying to get it under control.
The only part of the site that’s excessive is their media library, which has 28,000 images. I’m currently in the process of using Media Cleaner to try and bring that down to just the images still used on the site and set them up with protocols to do annual maintenance on things like this.
I did update the plugin to 1.4.14. I have just updated it to 1.4.15.
I then deleted the xml file and waited about 30 seconds, refreshed and it’s already regenerated and at 12MB, is that normal.
Does this plugin just run permanently? or does it run once a day etc? Maybe I need to get better acquainted with the settings to slow this down.
Shall I wait and send updated status logs from WooCommerce?
I have a staging site and this file doesn’t seem to generate there and grow for some reason but it does on the live site.
Any other thoughts or things we could try?
I appreciate your time and help with this.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Exessively Sized Tmp FileAround 200 or so total products.
I just don’t understand how the file starts off as 100kb and then after a week or we end up with a 10GB text file.
Is there a way you can add something that checks to see if this file gets over 100mb and auto deletes it?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Exessively Sized Tmp FileUnfortunately, I found out again today that it had grown to 10GB.
I shared some logs but didn’t hear back on those to see if there was anything obvious going on.
Please advise.
Okay, that’s a positive sign then. Hopefully the same fix is applied to the free version on here.
Unfortunately I haven’t heard anything or seen a similar solution and the native box editing features in Elementor don’t solve all of the same use cases.
I’m guessing this is abandoned which is a shame, I’ll post back if I find a solution or alternative.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Exessively Sized Tmp FileHello,
Thank you. It randomly stopped happening, I checked today and the file was 11GB and after deleting it, no issue.
I have updated it anyway now too.
Here are the logs with some errors which might or might not be related that I’d like to understand better.

I’m not sure yet if I’m still getting these.
Thanks both.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Temporary file grows in size alarmingly (+90GB)Sorry @jonayedhosen bumping and replying here so I can monitor progress. I too have a site with a 55GB .xml file that appeared all of a sudden.
Is this being actively worked on?
My loop is completely broken, had to deactivate the plugin and rebuild it.
Any loop where I use Ele Custom Skin, instead of showing the 10 different posts set in the query, it shows the same post 10 times.
If I switch to Classic or Cards, it loads the correct loop, but if I use Ele Custom Skin, the loop is broken.

In reply to: [Dashboard Welcome for Beaver Builder] Breaks when updating BB to 2.8.3Okay, thanks for the update. I’ll keep an eye out for an update and see if there are any problems with sites I have upgraded beyond the dashboard.

In reply to: [Dashboard Welcome for Beaver Builder] Breaks when updating BB to 2.8.3Hi Jamie,
Ah, okay, I misunderstood your first message.
Okay, is there a rough eta for when it might be fixed?
I haven’t noticed any other shortcode issues but I’ll have a look.
