There has to be a way to do this. I’ve tried many solutions found online and none work. I can insert a meta description Or title and description. But I can’t get rid of or change the <title>Products</title> that WC loads by default.

If I turn on JS optimization and uncheck aggregate JS, it works.

Apparently, it’s only the JS that’s an issue. With JS optimization active, it fails. I can have HTML and CSS active with no issue. I have excluded optimization for the entire plugin (/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro) for both JS and CSS.

Plugin is currently active and HTML and CSS optimization turned on. JS optimization is off at the moment.

I’ve tried Firefox and Chrome. Windows 10. Down near the system tray, I see javascript:void(0); when I mouse-over the button in both browsers.

In Chrome console:

Nothing in the error log.

Never mind. I found that Bluehost must be one of the hosts that block this feature if the From email account doesn’t exist. I created the email account and now it’s functioning properly.

Apparently, there is a conflict with Jetpack. If I disable Jetpack, it works properly. Enable Jetpack, and the issue returns.

I understand. No problem. Unfortunately, I have a client who is tired of waiting for a solution. Today we’ll be eliminating this form all together. The fact that it works perfectly in some environments and not at all in others leads me to believe it has nothing to do with a typo. I know sometimes one browser will assume there’s a mistake and redirect correctly, but checking the URL was something I did early on. In fact, I made sure to add the entire URL as the help instructions suggest.

I submitted a premium support ticket to Mike Challis last night. Doubt that a response will come in time, but I’d still love to find out why this is happening. In the research I’ve done about it, Mike says there are certain situations where the redirect simply won’t work. I’d have to go back and look to remember exactly what he described. But, again, the fact that the other form on the site works perfectly, makes me think that’s not the case here.

It will be interesting to see what the issue really is, assuming I ever find it. ;o)

I don’t have a Linux device. Not sure anyone owns a 2000 machine anymore. If they do, they shouldn’t. I’m not really concerned about IE8 at this point, never mind IE6, which is more the vintage you’re describing. On my iPhone and Macs and one Windows 8 device (as reported) it fails. It would be wonderful, I guess, if I owned all this technology and was willing to pay for feeding it electricity, but it’s not practical. I have XP, Win7, iPhone and iPad…that’ it other than online emulators, which aren’t always accurate.

Customers for this site are college students. I doubt any of them are using older technology.

Correct. And my question exactly. What’s the difference? There are more fields. I’m sure something else. Right now, I’m so close to it I need fresh eyes on it.

Tomorrow, I have to take the form down for my client, because he’s getting too many customers unable to register for his programs.

Thanks, mbrsolution. Great idea. That’s why it was one of the first things I tried. ;o) As I said, been through all the testing recommended online. FSCF site was the first place I looked. This one is tough. One form works for redirect. The other doesn’t.
