Well actually your empty days are hidden. When all three days (yesterday, today and tomorrow) are empty, just one sentence will show on the page that state there are no events at all. The widget cannot be hidden totally.

Automatic update works properly. Why you have to delete all records?
There is no import/export plugin but its so easy to backup. Just export wp-timeline in your database and restore it on any other WordPress installation. Of course you have to copy your settings (like templates) separately.

I understand that you can’t trust every code! But I assure you that code will only remove Akismet history and don’t corrupt your database.

Use this code to remove Akismet history form your database:

DELETE FROM wp_commentmeta WHERE meta_key LIKE '%akismet%'

There is no year designation and the plugin does not load only the title does.
