Just came here to bump this thread. I am running into the same issue with importing posts. After selecting the XML file and clikcking import I end up in with a 404 for step 2.

I see that this issue is marked resolved, however if this is the expected behavior the documentation should be updated since it currently clearly says that the og:description is generated from the excerpt:

Checking Autogenerate Descriptions will mean that All in One SEO Pack will automatically generate your OG:Descriptions for each Page or Post from the Excerpt, if you create one, or from the first 160 characters of your content if you do not create an Excerpt.

Actually, signing out and signing back in to the app did the trick. Should have tried that before.

Hi Jeremy,

Clearing the cookies and cache worked for wordpress.com but I still can’t see my main blog on the mac app. The only site I see there is the selfhosted one. I’ve tried uninstalling the app and re-downloading it but that didn’t seem to do the trick.

Any suggestion?

I have changed the main site to be my selfhosted site and I still only see the wp one when visiting https://wordpress.com

Are there other steps I should take? I noticed that the git issue got closed without a resolution.

Thanks for looking into this issue. Going to the link you posted lets me see the two blogs, however the changes I do there have no effect on the sites I can see at wordpress.com. The only site I can see is omarrr.wordpress.com (private wordpress hosted). The selfhosted site is still unavailable both on the WP panel as well as the desktop app.
