The display:none didn’t work but switching from the regular page editor to the make one did the trick.

I found the solution if anybody is interested.

In category.php, at the bottom, you will find these 2 lines:

<input type="hidden" id="current_page" value="<?php echo get_query_var( 'paged' ) ? get_query_var( 'paged' ) : 1 ?>">
				<input type="hidden" id="max_page" value="<?php echo $wp_query->max_num_pages ?>">

Just delete them.

The website is done, there’s just that small problem.

Changing the theme will have me redo everything over this which is clearly not worth it.

I’d rather find a fix, i’m sure there’s one i just can’t seem to find where the problem is coming from.

I did reached to them but so far, no answers.

One more thing, all this mess with the insert link button is only for my friend to be able to create links without having to know HTML.
If i switch to text editor, and input the a tag manually, then the links it works fine.

Do you know of a plugin or something that do not use the insert link button but let me easily create a link ?
To transform images into links it’s still doable i make my friend do it through the image properties but it’s for text that’s going to be tricky for her.

I did it and apparently it’s the theme that’s messed up somewhere.

I can see my changes reverted, but the button still doesn’t work…

yes i did made some changes in header.php.

I don’t think there has been any changes in the theme javascript files.
I know i didn’t and wouldn’t touch the js files…

yeah, i did it through the plugin called “Font”.

I tried deactivating it, but still, no changes…

I did it and nope, nothing changed.

I think it s in the theme’s javascript because when i change theme the button works fine, i click on the insert link button and the pop up appears.
In my theme it does not…
