Well, interestingly, this time the same App Domain that was rejected multiple times earlier was accepted … hmmm??? I am learning that the Facebook works in mysterious ways ….

Also, the URL needed “/” at the end, in my case. It could be a “?” or something as well for others. The plugin does not indicate that in the suggested URL and App Domain in the Set Up page (upper right corner). The FAQ screenshot has “/” in the example URL.

Just FYI … (since I struggled with this problem too)

I had to create a new account with another e-mail address because when I posted in “reviews” the avatar shows my preferred name to show PLUS my log-in username, which I wanted to hide.

But, if waiting out for a few weeks did not work, you could try this free service “Do Not Track Me – E-Mail Masking.” When you activate it, every time you need to put your e-mail in a box, you will see a pop up window asking if you want to mask it. If you choose so, it will give you a created and legit e-mail address that is connected to your original. And you can change it back. It could be useful for many other situations.
