Having this problem as well. Package completes reporting 0 bytes with a warning in the log about ZipArchive running into a possible disk quota issue when closing the zip file.

There’s no disk quota issue on the account/server and snapshots were working fine a few days ago. There are no symbolic links in the WordPress directory. Any suggestions?

Does using add_post_type_support work? YARPP should be made to work with that if it doesn’t already.
