I had to added white space next to each side of the images that were not 600 wide, to make them 600 wide, and so now it mostly works ok, but even though they are supposed to be all the same, there is a slight shifting of the image size when they change pictures, even though everything is set at the same size.

I believe it has to do with the fact that when creating a site here or somewhere in connection with this site, their web site pops up. I have seen it and that is how I found it. They are a ripoff site. Sitejabber.com gives them less than 2 stars. I am trying to get money back myself.

Thanks to all, but I consider the issue closed since my site was obviously the ONLY WP site to ever cut short the posts.

How can you see what is wrong? All the pages have been cut short so there are no longer any strange characters to see. And I am not giving you my passwords, so there is nothing to see.

I am sure you have probably seen those same characters before on other sites. You can see them here:

But those instructions will not stop it from happening, or fix the cutting of the text.

I deactivated every single plugin except the WordPress Importer and still it cuts off the posts to only a few lines. So I went to update and told it to reinstalled WP and still it does it.

I did revert to the twenty-ten theme and the plugins I have installed are:

I will delete a couple of them and report back.

I didn’t do anything. I even reinstalled it again which changed everything on my theme and still it was cutting off the posts to only a few lines. I just moved my site to wordpress.com and forwarded the URL there, for the time being.

There were question marks, capital A s with a mark on the top and other strange characters, one looks like a mark for the European money, the Euro.

My other WP installations work fine, and I have made some modifications to them.

It has taken me several days of work redoing this one site, which could have been spent doing something much more productive.

I was able to change the text size which seemed to darken the text as well. Perhaps there was a server delay and both changes are showing now. I will have to test it out.

Thanks for the info, but unless the white of your screen is very bright, there should not be a problem with black text and people with bad eyes need more contrast. Increasing the text size is a good idea, I will probably do that as well now that I have found the line.

I just did a search and could not find any part of that in the style.css file. Not even the number 666666. I did find this:

body{font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:11px;margin:0;padding:0; color:#666;}

I changed the color:#666; to #000 but nothing happened after upload.
