In reply to: [Tidio – Live Chat & AI Chatbots] Chat button overlaps page navigationThank you very much!!!
Just applied the fix following the guide. I edited the distance from the bottom (in my case 1.6em was just perfect with Twenty-seventeen)
Thanks again

In reply to: [Tidio – Live Chat & AI Chatbots] Chat button overlaps page navigationHi, thank you for your reply.
I got in touch with a nice but completely useless guy from Tidio’s CS.
He referred me back to WordPress. My question was: where exactly do I add your edit? I need a specific file and where in the file (top, bottom, anywhere).
I am using the Twenty-Seventeen theme, if that may help.

@jeremy Herve
Hello Jeremy, sorry for posting in an existing thread.
I found out the culprit is almost certainly my provider, and I contacted them about allowing access to xmlrpc.php
I’ll let you know if they solve the problem.
Thanks for your assistance.
I have the same error as the original thread post.
Jetpack installed and working, stats visible on WordPress.com but red triangle with “This site cannot be accessed” message.
Website is https://www.sognoverdesalo.it
It’s becoming annoying: I’d like to update my WP installs from WP.com, but the connection error makes it impossible.EDIT:
I operate 3 different sites (same provider, up to date wordpress and jetpack installs). All three show the same problem.Might it be provider-related?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Datepicker in Contact FormHi,
I’ll second the request. Also, there is a previous topic (now closed) with the same request.
It could be very useful.
Thanks for your great job.

In reply to: STAY THEME > Reservation WidgetFollow-up:
I just tested Automattic’s reservation widget (from a wordpress.com website).
Actually it is nothing more than a contact form where guests can inquire about availability.
There is no reservation database, calendar or anything like that, the host is supposed to check availability the old way and reply.
Hope that’s useful.

In reply to: STAY THEME > Reservation WidgetI am experiencing the same issue: apparently the widget is available only on WordPress-hosted websites (I activated one just to check). Let’s hope Automattic makes the widget available to the public.

same problem here, but apparently a fix is due out in the next few hours…

In reply to: [qTranslate] [Plugin: qTranslate] Problems displaying in the editor@jamesbonham
your solution appears to be working for me. I just shortened the interval to 300 (ms?), 500 was a bit slow for me.
It is such a minor adjustment that should not create problems elsewhere. Pure genius, thanks!

In reply to: [qTranslate] Bug in qTranslate? Help!Nope, I’m currently considering creating a Network using WordPress Multisite Option. Definitely not as elegant as Qtranslate, I agree

In reply to: [qTranslate] Bug in qTranslate? Help!Same problem here: if you look at the HTML in the editor, you’ll notice that in the SECONDARY (I just use 2) language window, the editor adds paragraph tags to each line. Basically, if you need to edit just one of the versions, you have to check all of them.
The problem is intermittent and happens both in pages and posts.

In reply to: [qTranslate] [Plugin: qTranslate] Problems displaying in the editorsame problem here
deactivating the plugin causes item to reappear in editor, but o course only for the main language
Also, apparently the plugin (since the last 3/4 updates tends to mess with paragraphs: I found several unwanted line feeds

In reply to: [qTranslate] qTranslate not working in WP 3.4.1The workaround works in my testing environment (WP 3.4.1; qTranslate 2.5.30).
Not sure I’m gonna update WP yet, though (still on 3.3.2, qTranslate 2.5.29). I’d rather wait for a word from qTranslate’s creator…
I believe WordPress will soon be forcing users to check stats from the WP page (already happening on WP.com), rather than the user’s own Dashboard. That should solve any speed issue.
