Quick update, I am 99% sure i have this fixed and the issue (if i am right) is definitely a problem with woocommerce. Is there someone i should email or should i write it all out here? I am not a coder but i can easily explain what i have discovered in laymans terms.

As I said, if i am right this issue was not my doing, something in wc that can easily be fixed (i hope).

Thanks, i am not very comfortable giving woo support admin access right now. since i deactivated that plugin i have had 3 orders and all were processed correctly. if i get to 20 i will consider it fixed. then reinstate my more complex shipping and see what happens.

also, since deactivationg that plugin I have no more fatal logs. however, i have also had no orders since March 29th so time will tell.

I deactivated it, I dont see any new fatal logs since then. How long before a new fatal error log would be created after deactivation?

Also, i see logs from PaypalExpress and when I look at the transactions on there that were bugged, in those logs the shipping and tax are both “0” for the bugged orders but the correct amounts for the other orders. i dont see any errors or differences between good and bad orders – only that the ship and tax numbers are simply “0” for some reason.

so i changed my shipping to flat $4 and so far no issues. however, i now have a much bigger problem. WooCommerce failed to charge sales tax on several transactions that it should have (sales within the state of florida).

the orders should have had a $5 charge but had zero. they all contained at least one item in the $5 shipping class. again, i cannot replicate the issue and it happened 3 times so far as recently as yesterday. so thats $15 i lost out on because of this issue. please help! thank you
