@wooassist I did that but the problem is still there. I must say that I use it in another language. I use loco translate but I can’t find any entry for “Other” in the PO file.
For now I edited “wc-customer-source.php” and it works (until the next update). But it’s good enough for me.

The option is Show Post Details (words).
Try setting it to 200 first. It worked for me.

since this topic was “solved” I have created a new one and the plugin’s author offered a solution that works for me: simply set the numbers of characters to 200.

From what I understand, the message error’s wording is just wrong, it has nothing to do with a “caption” (which term only applies to an image) but a mixture of post content, URL, tags etc.

Although I still don’t understand as the Instagram post contains not only the “custom message” set in the WP admin’s post, but also 1200 characters of the post’s content (not 200).

But it works, so thank a lot for the tip and a great plugin!

Same error message:
InstagramAPI\Response\ConfigureResponse: Caption too long.

I tried the settings with the default “Show Post Details (words)” (2200), then down to 1500 then 1000.

Also what is the “Caption” in this error message. It it talking about the post content or an image caption?

@macmanx I tried with an image block but I don’t get the same layout, I can’t get full width for example, and the spaces between elements are larger.

I’ve tried using the <figcaption></figcaption> tag right before the closing </figure> tag but it returns an “HTML Error” in the editor.

Hi @talldanwp Figcaption is not showing any caption when used in a Media & Text block.
And it returns an “HTML Error”.

Yes, very disappointing. They have been saying they’re working on making it WPML compatible since the beginning of the plugin but it still not done yet.
I’m not sure they’re going to make it happen.

I had the same question with (no) caching Woocommerce pages but I read that since version 1.4.2+ WooCommerce automatically

sets the DONOTCACHEPAGE constant

so no further configuration is required.
