In reply to: I have two different homepages?!?!No worries,
Good start to the week, on the right hand side you’ll see some info marked about this topic, can you mark it as resolved?

In reply to: I have two different homepages?!?!You can do this in the menu too,
Just drag all the other pages to the right of your menu, they’ll stick and you should be done.
No worries. Happy to help.

In reply to: I have two different homepages?!?!Hi There,
Take a look at Appearance—menus, you could set up a custom link in a menu marked home and point it to https://www.digitalcopywriting.com.au which I think should fix your issue, if you are using a theme which doesn’t support custom menus, then I’d consider switching themes

In reply to: I have two different homepages?!?!Hi Again,
The reason the posts ‘homepage’ doesn’t appear in pages is the fact it is not, in terms of WordPress at least, a page, its a collection (archive) of blog posts.
Could you explain a little more on what you are looking to achieve with the blog page being the parent page?

In reply to: I have two different homepages?!?!Hi xcyteme,
Have a look at your reading settings under Settings—Reading check what you have got set as your homepage in these. If you want your main posts page as your homepage just click the button that says “your latest posts”.
Hope this helps

In reply to: WP fishy theme, slideshow text issuesI never resolved the issue,
My advice would be choose a more solid theme with better support, my choice would be Hybrid or Prototype, great support. Also you can create a very similar slideshow using the smooth slider plugin.
Hope this helps
Thanks,
It might also be useful to note that the add question button below the question area takes you to the blank page, the one above takes you to the add question form.
Update.
I added an field to the form under quiz options and I think this has solved the issue. I have got as far as the add question screen anyway. I’ll keep you informed.
Thanks for getting back to me,
Upgraded to 1.3.2 and things improved, but still can’t add questions.
Add new quiz, add new quiz called Sushi & Sashimi, All settings on no or none apart from enable quiz and show results. Save Options, Add a section, called Sushi & Sashimi part 1, medium difficulty, 2 questions, ascending order. Then nothing happens, same as before.
But, now when I click on quiz/survey It has saved the quiz! then click questions, it tells me I have no questions, click add question and this sends me to a totally blank page.
Any help would be great, I’m more than happy to give you more info if needed.Thanks
I’m also having an issue, downloaded the plugin today and cannot add questions.
Plugin install is fine, add new quiz, add sections, once the sections are saved I have no option other options. The quiz name does not appear, so cannot add questions. It just takes me back to the start, add new quiz/survey page.
Any help would be great

In reply to: Visual Editor/Image uploader issueThanks Again for taking the time to help.
Finally I have resolved the issue, how exactly I’m not sure. It could have been a stray .htaccess, changes I made to wp-config.php, something in wp-comments.php, genuinely not sure.
I do know its 3am and its ‘fixed’. Brilliant!
Thanks Again

In reply to: Visual Editor/Image uploader issueHi and Thanks again,
Well the error log is fairly big, I intend to look in there a litte more often!
The latest error in the log is this:
[21-Oct-2010 16:36:51] PHP Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/ogma/public_html/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/ogma/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 19
However, I think this could have come from the re=installing[uploading of today. A couple of weeks ago, when I figure the problem started, there is this:
[17-Sep-2010 13:00:07] WordPress database error Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation ‘=’ for query SELECT comment_ID FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_post_ID = ‘190’ AND comment_approved != ‘trash’ AND ( comment_author = ‘Doggy’ OR comment_author_email = ‘[email protected]’ ) AND comment_content = ‘Hola,
?Puedo tomar obtener una pequeсa foto de su blog?Which I’m guessing, guessing! is the route of the problem, still googling solutions but if you have any suggestions they would be most appreciated.
