In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] /tmp folder filling up with version 0.9.2.7W3CTC is a cache manager, you know…it is supposed to cache things elsewere, like in your tmp folder.
Sorry, I don’t use that plugin (FV Community News), therefore I don’t know how to fix it. ??
1 – Go to the WP Touch settings page
2 – Copy all the agents shown, paste in Notepad and edit the list so there is one agent per line (delete the commas)
3 – Paste that list in the “Rejected user agents:” field in the Page cache, Minify and CDN (if used) tabs of W3CTC settings page
4 – Go to “User agent groups” of W3CTC settings, paste the list in the “USer agents” field of the “low” group (it should be the second one), delete duplicates and save settings.WPTouch should be working by now. Note: After modifying Page cache options W3CTC will try to edit your .htaccess; in my case I had to edit it by hand.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] 0.9.2.7 is working, but breaks WPTouchIt wasn’t the version, it was W3CTC not saving settings due to permissions. Everything is working now, except for FTP.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Last error: "Unfortunately we're not able to chmod folders…"I’ve disabled the plugin for now, but, if you want to save those then make sure:
– Folder w3c-config has 755 permissions
– inside that folder, manually upload master.php and master-admin.php (both blank)
– Try to save settings; if you can’t, set permissions 777 to both filesI got it working, and was able to save MOST preferences, but coulnd’t get CloudFlare to save its values. Hope that helps.
I’m so pissed about this.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] CloudFlare API errorI’ve managed to iron all the wrinkles. The error I mentioned first (the CloudFlare API) is the last one I’m experiencing. Any ideas?

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Updated Plugin, FTP issues recurringHave the same problem here. I created manually all the folders and copied the files, but still can’t save settings; I’m getting:
“W3 Total Cache Error: Default settings are in use. The configuration file could not be read or doesn’t exist. Please (button) to create the file.”
Can’t get past this.

In reply to: [Tools for Twitter] [Plugin: Twitter Tools] Authentication FailedDear Lord, it was the server’s time all along; after creating a ticket with my hosting provider asking to update the server’s time (it was 36 minutes behind), authentication worked…two months of headaches have officially ended. ??

In reply to: [Tools for Twitter] [Plugin: Twitter Tools] Authentication FailedI deleted my app, recreated it four or five times, I’ve double checked, triple checked all tokens and secrets…and I’m still getting that damned “Authentication Failed. Please check your credentials and make sure Twitter is up and running” error.
It’s been three frustrating weeks now.
Try cleaning your browser cache (cookies included) and then try again.

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] W3TC and WP-PollsIt doesn’t work in cached pages (with WP-Polls, that is); in non-cached pages (my blog home page for example), it shows the poll correctly. But suppose you haven’t voted, when you visit a cached page, you will see poll results, but not poll options.
It’s a shame, because the plugin really helped my blog; it helped it so much that I’m considering getting rid of the polls plugin. Anyway, if someone comes up with a solution, please let me know.
Thanks for your help fredericktownes.

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] W3TC and WP-PollsI’ve just checked and it seems that W3TC doesn’t play well with WP-Polls; even with no home page caching WP-Polls breaks. Fully disabling W3TC works, but that’s obviously not what I want. Hope that helps.
