thanks for getting back to me.
Well this is strange in a good way – last week no images where there, today only 2 or 3 are missing…and i think it is the same 3 that where missing the first time. The strangest thing about them is that of all images missing only one was showing and that one is missing. Strange.
I have enough disk space as it is unlimited.
I am not using cdn or custom uploads folder…
what could be causing this?

Hi there,
First – check your functions.php files. There should be some strange code in them right at the beginning. By them i mean main and child theme.
Then – look for a subscriber named admin and delete.
Do this on every subdomain you have.
Delete sharethis plugin.

Oh, that is way wordfence has issued a warning regarding changed css file? I then restored the original file and now i can’t change anything…i’ll set the permission to 644 and see how it goes. Thanks!

yes, i did everything as described.
In the dropdown list based on your test the option apache+mod.php is chosen.
i get to the page with -htacces download and can continue to set up the firewall. but on the last page i get the warning with the red line that it takes some minutes to set it up and refresh page in a few minutes. when i refresh after hours, the warning is still there and i get the option on the top of your pages to set up firewall.
i just now deactivated wordfence and activated it back.
there was still the line on top to set up firewall but on dashboard where it says feature status for firewall it says enabled. ? is this normal and i get all this because the firewall is in learning mode?

i would love to give you an answer regarding those issues but i don’t get any warnings and really don’t know how my server is configured, as i am on shared hosting with ssl…

solved!
it was a plugin. don’t know which one as i delelted more of them. but…i am happy again ??

is this a code or how do i find it?
