    Hello,

    No, I don’t use site builder. I just used wordpress and write the code myself or use some plugins. I tried changing themes, disabling all plugins, deleting all css. Nothing helps.

    Thanks,
    Edvinas

    I am still waiting for reply. I have also tried to change the theme to see if it will make any difference, nothing has changed. Tried disabling all plugins, changing theme, still no text.

    Hello,

    Thank for your help. I really appreciate all the hard work you put into this plugin, it’s very helpful and useful! I don’t use site builder. I just used wordpress and write the code myself or use some plugins. Tried disabling all the plugins, still wouldn’t work.

    Looked into the source of web, I can see this:

    <h4>Cookie Policy</h4>
    </header><!– /header –>
    <div class=”gdpr-info”>
    <div class=”gdpr-policy-content”>
    (i think this is where the text should be, but it’s not?) </div>

    The text is displayed in the code, but just down below and it’s not being displayed anywhere.

    <div class=”gdpr-cookies-used”> <div class=”gdpr-cookie-title”> <p>Terms of Use (10th of July 2018 release)</p> <span class=”gdpr-always-active”>Required</span> <input type=”hidden” name=”user_consents[]” value=”terms-of-use-10th-of-july-2018-release” checked style=”display:none;”> </div>
    <div class=”gdpr-cookies”>
    <span>TEXT TEXT TEXT TEXT TEXT TEXTTEXT TEXT TEXTTEXT TEXT TEXTTEXT TEXT TEXTTEXT TEXT TEXTTEXT TEXT TEXTTEXT TEXT TEXTTEXT TEXT TEXTTEXT TEXT TEXT

    Text text

    text</span>
    </div>
    </div> </div>

    I am so confused, nobody else seems to be having this issue.

    I’ve uploaded the picture to imgur as per your advice. See the link, please. image

    In regards to copying and pasting the whole audit log, that wouldn’t really act as evidence in dispute as there is no way to prove such evidence is authentic and not forget, even if we know it’s?

    That’s due to the nature of text editing files. These can be edited any time, and any consent could just be put in manually, even if it wasn’t actually provided?

    Any ideas how to go around this and make an actual solid evidence out of audit log?

    “Maybe add the actual policy to the audit log?”

    THIS. It would make it way more GDPR compliant. If a website user makes a complaint, GDPR requires proof when, how and which version of the policy has been accepted.

    Allowing plugin users to copy-paste the actual policy somewhere in the plugin settings, it then would be saved as “current privacy policy”, and once the customer accepts that policy, audit log has the whole policy linked in plain text or something.

    If plugin user updates “current privacy policy” and website user accepts the new one, obviously it shows the new one in audit log when clicking on it or something.

    Just an idea since you asked for them.

    So I found that consent is stored in audit log, which is nice. But I cant seem to find a way to export the audit into a document that could be used as an evidence if dispute were raised.

    Also, there is still no text coming in when I ask customer consent to my terms, privacy etc. I did put text into “Long description” and “short description” Image
