Fixed, thank you very much for the support!
In case someone has the same issue:
I had the facebook JS library being imported multiple times, once from the plugin and once with the theme I’m using.
Solution: Remove it from the themes header.Done. I’ll mark this as resolved as soon as there is some feedback from that other link.
Thanks!
I’d love to agree with you because it would make my life much easier to just chase a refund with my bank instead of waiting for the author to reply but to me, it seems mostly functional.
I obviously cannot deny that there is no documentation but as for the rest of it, when enabled on my site, it does indeed wait 10-11 seconds before publishing as an action to the timeline. Also, although it does put “news.reads” as the action within the plugin area on your site, it places “<your name> read an article” with a link to that article on the wall. You can even delete that article from the plugin section on your site and it will update your Facebook wall just as it should.
I’m not saying it’s completely functional as I haven’t been able to test every aspect of it yet and I’m not sure if “publishing actions” is supposed to do more than just “<Your name> read an article” with a link to the article (I don’t use Facebook personally – this is for a “client”) but what I’ve said above, does work with the plugin.
As I’ve said in the other thread, the only part not working right now is that the login button only works in Chrome and not in Firefox or Opera.
I’m going to wait a day or two to give the author a chance to reply before chasing my refund.
