Well, I accidentally was on another google account when I reauthorized, but then I signed into mine and did it again and it worked! (-: ! I am so happy. Now all I have to do is repeat the process again with my new website (which I don’t remember how to do), but your online instructions were great so I am sure I’ll be able to it again if I have a lot of tea! There is one more thing I am not sure I have figured out. I did manage to delete the file in the database on the hosting for vikingalthing.org and then I was able to re-install updraft plus and I am sure the part on the wordpress site itself is still working, but I don’t think the google drive backup is. It still seemed to have the google drive set up when I re-installed it, so, not being sure what to do about this, I just left it, hoping it would just work again but it did not. I am guessing that what I need to do is to set it up again, re-doing the backup to google drive process on the google site? I just want to make sure because I am a little afraid of screwing anything up!

I have, with the help of my host, managed to delete the file, and I am going to add it again. I don’t just like your plugin, I absolutely love it. I was so horrified to discover that my site was mot really backed up, or only partially so, when I did so on the host. I didn’t know. The plugin works so wonderfully and the screen shot directions, although hard for me, are something that even I (someone with no computer training)can understand. I shall definitely give it a good review when I am next online. It is amazing. Thank you again! (-;

Is using tags a bad thing? Doesn’t it help people find your site and people search for it? What do you use them for? I may well not understand what the connotations are.

Does one make changes to the theme files in the host itself?
Well it does sound a little scary but I would like to understand. I do not think I am using a child theme. I do have an backup and restore plugin but perhaps I could try it on another site first if case I make a dreadful mistake.(-;

Well I wanted to hide the tags because I do not think they look good, it seems cluttered, while I am happy with the rest of the theme in general, so I would like the tags to be useful for search engines but just not visible. To me they take away from the content.

Are there ever any problems changing themes? I assume everything usually works much the same? I like this one because the content is easy to read and the banner at the top automatically shows different pictures that one can put in oneself.

How does one modify the template to remove the display? Is this very difficult? I wish I had taken computer science.(-:

Hi.I had the same problem and now I have another slightly different one so I thought this might be a good place to ask. After I updated a few versions ago instead of articles being in lines there are now random empty spaces in the line up here and there where a thumbnail article should go. This has not resolved itself and I was hoping it might in a new update but it has not yet. The new problem is that the articles now no longer show up as thumbnails, at all. The host did briefly deactivate my plugins due to a hosting problem that they were trying to fix which turned out to be on their end. Now my articles do show one after another , but not as a thumbnail at all. Not sure what to do, any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Ok. I see. I thought it was possible and I just did not know how to do it. I think I read something about one being able to do this, upload ones own videos, with wordpress.com (as oppose to dot org) or am I mistaken? Thank you very much for your help, Andrew.

Hi and thank you. Excuse my ignorance, but I don’t know what you mean by a file sharing website? I have video sermons (redes) from time to time, which really are video slide shows, so its not that I am planning on having large scale use of videos. I guess what you are saying is that I cannot put my own video directly on my website without embedding from youtube or similar?

Hi! Yes. I mean the tags that I have entered for search engine visibility on articles (with issue m) and blog posts. I like the editor style free themes I use for this which are easy to read but the tags look dreadful and there does not seem to be any way to remove them from being visible at the bottom of the posts and artcles. In fact they seem to show up with most of the themes.
