In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Customize Stripe Payment DescriptionI would also like to know the answer tho (and I assume others might, too). I too have bought the plugin. Should I set up a ticket in Events Tickets Plus premium support site?

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Orders & attendee stats incorrectThank you. Although I went with instinct on this. Rather than duplicating the page (with a WP clone page plugin) and then changing elements for this years’ new event (with the same name), I created a brand new WP page and cut n pasted content.
This fixed the issue. I think
I think cloning event pages was the mistake. Same Post ID.
You need to create each new event from scratch.

In reply to: [Redirection] Redirects not workingNo. Could it be a server issue?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Redirection] Redirects not workingI write the full source URL and Redirection truncates it to that (invalid) URL. Although it looks and acts as if it’s okay – and then you test it – and the URL is invalid. It’s like Redirection can’t see the domain it’s on. It does this for each case. PDFs and normal urls.
Is there a setting? I’m just redirecting from the .com.au domain to a more SEO friendly name of the same file hosted on the .org domain. – should be simple right?

In reply to: [Redirection] Redirects not workingFor that particular example, when I enter the full (.org.au) URL https://acola.org.au/wp/PDF/SAF/PSC2016.pdf
it automatically truncates the address to
/wp/PDF/SAF/PSC2016.pdfThe target URL is on a different server (.org) . . .

In reply to: [Redirection] Redirects not workingI’m also having the same issue. I read somewhere to change the “MATCH” from “URL & Server” to just URL but when I do that I cannot save (the SAVE button is greyed out).
Imported all redirections from a CSV file – dunno if that’s anything to do with it.
When I check redirect I get a
Check redirect for: https://pdf/SAF/PSC2016.pdf
Expected: 301 to https://acola.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/saf12-project-steering-committee2016.pdf
Found: 500
Agent: Not using RedirectionI notice the URL https://acola.org.au/wp is missing from the sourceURL so I’m sure there’s something going on there. Base URL is https://acola.org.au
Works same for pdf files as normal files

In reply to: [Brizy - Page Builder] Contact formYou can see the Brizy form not working at https://www.climateroofrestorations.com.au/roof-restoration-perth/ – thought Brizy would be a great way to bypass theme to mkae landing pages, but if the form doesn’t send, what use is it? Anybody got a workaround? For example – can I use CF7 with Brizy? (that’d be great)

In reply to: Updating failed when you save Post in WP5I also get “Update failed” but not only that – I can’t even close the browser tab on the page. Weirdly the updates have actually saved so that’s a small positive end note. Anyone discovering this? I have to close the entire browser to start again. UGH!!!
Why did WP do this when we have so many page builders out there? 90% of my site use Visual Composer. Was the aim to kill that market? Foolish update. “If it works don’t fix it”
Every time I try to close the tab in Chrome, I see a javascript box pop-up saying “Changes may not be saved” – but they are. So…

In reply to: Hostgator and WordPressNo, I’m not using a caching plugin. But thank you for the quick reply. I suppose I could put a bit of header code telling the site not to cache, but I’ve never had to do that since about 1997.
It’s possible that another plug is conflicting with this one. Have you tried switching all your plugins off one by one and refreshing your site each time. It’s annoying I know, but this may not be this particulr plugin as they often share resources. Not very Nicely.
+1
