And thank you for the theme support link. I posted in there after posting in here because I read the forum guidelines and figured that forum was a much better place to put my post since it had to deal with my theme. I got scolded for posting in both though so I will not be posting again.

Thank you for the help though. The nod to the error in my theme is much appreciated. I have hired a technology specialist to help me from here on out.

I apologize for the duplicate. I read through the Forum Welcome in the Codex and it says that you should post in the forum that is most suitable.

I figured since this happened when I started using the Catch Everest theme, this forum was the most suitable. I’ll try to figure it out.

I am using the Catch Everest 1.1.2 theme.

How would I switch over to the default twenty twelve theme? Can I do that manually without accessing the dashboard?

Currently, I can access specific posts because they are linked on to the blog from my actual webpage, https://www.nysga.org. However, the content on my blog homepage minus the header and menu is gone. Also, I cannot access my dashboard.

This seems like a very complicated process. I feel that I may screw something up if I do this because I do know exactly what I am doing.

Is there anything else I could try before doing the FTP stuff?

In essence, my dashboard page is blank.

I am able to enter my login information however, when I enter the information the page goes blank. In the URL it seems to load because the address switches to https://www.nysga.org/blog/wp-admin/. The page stays blank though.

Okay, I have switched it to the Twenty Twelve Theme and now I am able to see all of the content.

I was messing around with some Style CSS stuff last week because I was trying to get text to wrap around my images. Is it possible that the new code I entered into the Style CSS of the Twenty Eleven theme made me not able to see my content?

First, yes I am able to login to my dashboard. Second, yes (my wording was a bit improper) the page is blank. The url comes up as the correct web address however there is nothing on the page.

Hi Tom,

I disabled the Meta Slider. I am still unable to see my homepage. Since it is most likely not a problem for the Meta Slider forum, could you point me in the direction of another forum I should be posting in to get help?

Hi Tom,

You were correct in the placement of the code. I placed it above “<nav id=”access” role=”navigation”>” and then replaced the slideshow ID and it works.

Hi Tom,

I did exactly what you told me to do and nothing happened. I tried it both above the code and after the code but it did not change the header at all.

Am I missing something? Do I need to do something in with my header image in my theme?
