Glad to hear it – if you’ve not done so already then the “premium” version of “Media Library Categories” functionally replaces Enhanced Media Library and can pick up all of the EML categories.

Not sure if it helps @bacasdev but I did a bit more research and I’ve found that the problem was caused by another plugin – Enhanced Medial Library by wpUXsolutions, which also has not been updated. I disabled this and, hey-presto, DG now works OK when used in a classic block or Pagebuilder block/widget.

In 5.3 DG seems to have stopped working even with the classic editor, you can create new galleries but not edit them or upload additional files. Great shame as this was a super plugin – unfortunately I dont have the knowledge to try and get it working.

I have the same problem, cant add to an existing document – even when using the old editor. Also it seems to have broken the upload tab as well, so I cant upload without coming out of editor and going to the media library directly.

Unfortunately I use DG in multiple places around the site, so this is a major pain. Any suggested alternatives would be welcome

I am also concerned about this, Since moving to latest release of wordpress the “full editor” seems to have stopped working.

I am using Site Origin, with the latest versions of siteorigin pagebuilder, siteorigin widgets and vantage theme. I also use Frontier Post’s Frontier Buttons which adds some stuff to the Tinycmce editor (although turning this off had no impact).

I also had this problem with FASC 2.0.0, I upgraded and it broke the Visual Editor. You could see the HTML in “Text” but the visual screen was blank. Also for some existing pages you could not see anything in either page.

Unfortunately I have had to remove FASC as the site is in development and I need to keep working on it.

Hi…. well it turned out it was a plugin, “Forget About Shortcode Buttons” which I had upgraded to the latest version. When I deactivated this the problem went away. I guess the answer is to only update plugins one at a time & test after every update !

Don’t ask me why it caused the problem – might be interaction with one of the other plugins i guess
