Issue was:

This plugin only works for specific pages, not for site wide changes.

I was using it with Custom CSS Plugin which manages site wide changes.

Probably a conflict.

I disabled both and used a Plugin which offer sitewide and specific changes so there is no conflict.
Depends on your needs.

Note. The issue above was due to a plugin conflict.

Now works well.

Solved.

Was not aware the Blog page only inherits the Post’s characteristics, so changing the Post’s css – such as .content .entry {background-color: #FFA700; } will render on Blog layout e.g. for columns, in this instance.

Other blog specific page changes are done through regular css.

Just an addendum.

I can change blog “page” specific elements such as entry-header etc.

I’m sorry to take your time. I did as you mentioned a few times – I deactivated this plugin – there must be a conflict with another plugin – the FAQ page I created was rendering without a footer and sidebar, so it must be the plugin as all was fine beforehand.

I have uninstalled but see there are still some traces of it – I will now need a plugin to delete those – hehe.

There is a problem that when I publish the FAQ, it loads a page-not-found page. It should show. Did yours show or is there a code change? Not sure it should be this complicated ??

BTW, can you share how you got this plugin to work?

I created an faq, then on a new page used the shortcode [faqs]. No output.

remove_action(‘wp_print_styles’, ‘cc_tabby_css’, 30);

Oooops, I didn’t know you had to copy the code, it just asked for the page where to put the code. Perhaps I missed this but there is no code there that I see. Did I miss this? Thanks

It’s the individual paypal buttons unfortunately. I really prefer not to add a cart to the site, it’s only a few items. Hopefully you’ll have the button option soon. Thanks

I found my mistake – after adding widget the widget shows on the right hand side of the widget list, must add in widgets to them. Thx
