In reply to: can't clear a float, help please!!I tried various clearfix methods before and they didn’t work. Not sure whether I was doing it right though. So #content (the parent element) gets and additional .clearfix class and the rest (like :before and :after) is simply defined in the css, right? Actually, I don’t need the clearfix if I don’t use the absolute value. But if I use the normal way of positioning the floated elements (like you have suggested above), that always results in the second issue… Does it maybe have to do with the fact that the layout is responsive?

In reply to: can't clear a float, help please!!OK, I’ve made some screenshots, hope these help to locate the problem. The first one shows the sidebar colliding with the footer and the second one shows what happens if I don’t set the sidebar to absolute.

In reply to: [WP Shortcodes Plugin — Shortcodes Ultimate] Hyperlinks to spoilers and tabsIs there any way we can modify the plugin ourselves to get the result? Like, add IDs or anchor tags to the tabs somewhere in the functions? Or maybe have child pages content displayed on tabs on the parrent page somehow? I’ve been searching for a solution for days now. I believe that for many other people it’s also important to be able to include the tabs, spoilers etc. in the overall navigation. But I couldn’t find any hints on how to accomplish this… Could you please provide any information?

In reply to: [Nav Menu Images] Nav Menu Images not appearing in IE 8I’m experiencing the same problem, so I thought I’d bring the topic up again. Has anybody found a solution by now? I’d be really grateful for any hints.
