Unfortunately, the problem does not always occur It’s quite random.
I did find a backdoor to solve the problem for the time being. I uploaded the files via the media library and attached the images to the product and it worked.
So, the issue is not with the images — the largest one is about 80k.

Since it doesn’t always happen, I can’t verify that a plugin is causing the issue.

Hi, you do have the correct icon.
I am trying to prevent the css from a deleted plugin (AIOSEO). It finally reloaded, but if I click on publish changes, again nothing happens. If it reloads, the changes are lost. So far I have spent about 10 minutes this morning and nothing was saved.

So, I can’t check if this has affected the site at all.

I have cleared the cache before trying to do anything with the optimization.
I cleared the browser cache as well.

Well, I deactivated their security plugin and the robots file looks ok. they told me that the plugin doesn’t affect the robots file, so I will have to look for another reason but for now, all is ok. Thanks for getting back to me

Update — apparently the issue is with the mobile version on a mobile device. If I exit the mobile version and display the desktop version on the phone, it works just fine.

Is there an advantage to displaying the mobile version?

I think I solved my problem by adjusting which columns are visible. I would like to have more columns visible, but it looks like I will have to live with this

This is the only warning I see:
