I created a new Ninja form in WP and it seemed to send but the mail never got to me. 2 hours on with WP support figured it out and thought i would share here.
I was working on a new WP site in TEMP url. Cannot do that first of all, testing forms will not work.
Here are my notes and what to do and not do.
o CANNNOT test form on TEMP WP site URL, has to be real domain url.
o Don’t put TEST in subject line GD and others will bounce it.
o Always add message don’t leave blank!!!
o No Gmail or Yahoo in the FROM address in form design. Use [email protected]
○ Send TO field is fine to have gmail/yahoo address just not the FROM field.
o FROM and TO are not they same email address
Hopefully it will avoid stress for someone else.
