In reply to: Issues after removing Wp-Supercache Changing htaccessWe rolled it back again and the site is up, now the only remaining issue is i can’t access any of the admin pages. When I attempt to login I get to a plain version of the login screen and then when I supply credentials I get a 404 error after it redirects with reauth=1 in the url.

In reply to: how to dress up my site?I agree. atthe404 is the way to go. I attempted to work with some styles I found that were contest winners an another site They were nice, however, I had one problem after another while attempting to customize them. I switched to the Gemini layout and it is terrific!
I’m very new to WP and css, so this was the answer for me.

In reply to: Does IE Hate Me, Root?I see the float code in my Gemini pages …how hard is it for me to add it to the other?

In reply to: Does IE Hate Me, Root? Thanks! I’ll try that. Just an FYI….For anyone else who is having troubles using WP with the various style sheets found on the Internet…save some time and use the Gemini ccs.
I had virtually no experience with WP or css but without alot of difficulty was able to customize the style to our needs. I found the code to be much easier to work with than other css that had had tried and the index code really works well.
Just my 2 cents.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: I’m almost ready, RootThanks, I appreciate all the help. I’ll work on these other items. The H1 thing has proven to be a little difficult duplicating. I do pretty well on google right now with several search terms including number 11 out of over 3,000,000 on “homeland security” . However…not so well on Yahoo and others. so I’m sure that will help..
Not sure how to hack the js tags, but I can work on the rest once I transition site over. Thanks again. I’ll email once I’ve migrated all the content.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Questions For Root – Gemini LayoutIs there any way to fix one last thing? The left line lags while loading. In fact I can only make it visable by scrolling. However, when I only show 3-5 posts on the page, it’s fine.
Is there any way to fix it?
Thanks again. Great layout. Makes me look like I actually know what I’m doing.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Questions For Root – Gemini LayoutThat was it! I don’t know whats causing the lg on the left line to load, but the right line is fixed.
Thanks again.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Questions For Root – Gemini LayoutThanks, I will add the links. I am having ine proble though and then I’ll start make the switch. I have to build a template with the same look for the static pages.
For some reason…the left outside line doesn’t load until I scroll and now that I’ve added a blogroll, the line on the left is broken. Not sure what I did.
