Thanks

In reply to: [Theme My Login] The plug in will not log outA note of further explanation:
After a subcriber logs in:
Previous version of plugin:
==========================logout link from WordPress admin bar =
https://www.xxx/about-us/home/?action=logout&_wpnonce=xxxxxxxxxx
or
https://www.xxx/about-us/home/?action=logout&_wpnonce=yyyyyyyyyy
i.e. it changes per user
logout link from menu is ALWAYS the same wpnonce value:
https://www.xxx/?action=logout&_wpnonce=nnnnnnnnnn
This passes you to the “are you sure” page where the logout link is:
https://www.xxx/?action=logout&_wpnonce=xxxxxxxxxx
https://www.xxx/?action=logout&_wpnonce=yyyyyyyyyy
And the subscriber can log out.
Latest version of plugin:
=========================logout link from WordPress admin bar =
https://www.xxx/?page_id=4766&_wpnonce=xxxxxxxxxx
logout link from menu is ALWAYS the same wpnonce value:
https://www.xxx/?action=logout&_wpnonce=nnnnnnnnnn
This passes you to the “are you sure” page where the logout link is:
https://www.xxx/?page_id=4766&_wpnonce=xxxxxxxxxx
And then the visitor gets a ‘Not found’ message within the website

In reply to: [Theme My Login] The plug in will not log outI have the same issue after updating to the latest version from an older version.
the logout url is in the format https://www.xxxx/?action=logout&_wpnonce=xxxxxxxxxx
Administrators are logged into WordPress admin and logout from there.
Subscribers are logged into the public site and can’t logout. Thanks in advance.

In reply to: [Theme My Login] Including login link on main navigationMany thanks for the prompt reply Jeff.
The inherited site’s navigation is large and multi-tiered plus the client needs to be able to add new nav entries as they add content to the site.
So to save the client time and retain functionality ideally I just want to be able to restore the existing link.
Are there any risks to using the ‘remove_filter’ approach I outlined?
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Theme My Login] Rexovery Page of 'login' and 'logout'I believe that if the login page doesn’t exist in your list of ‘pages’ you can re-create a page called login and then need to add the shortcode [theme-my-login].
e.g. as per https://www.jfarthing.com/development/theme-my-login/general/
There is other documentation there too.
For my issues, overwriting the latest version with the ‘no-update’ version of SU (3.9.5) has got things working again – info as at gndev.info/kb/troubleshooting/
I realise that won’t help everyone but we had not undertaken updates in a long time so weren’t using any new features of version 4.
I will hold off future updates until the current issues are resolved.
Thanks
I have similar after updating both WordPress and SU to v4 and v4.9.2 respectively.
I have lost tabs and columns – they appear as the shortcode e.g. [tabs style=”1″] rather than as the expected tab.
Thank you.
Just to say that to date, on our sites this has been a one-off issue.
Thank you for the speedy response.
Much appreciated.
