I went to Filezilla to delete file as you suggested and it is not there? but Wordfence is still reporting it is.

I have never had this happen before and I am not experienced in using Filezilla.

Any suggestion or sources on how I can resolve this issue?

How do you remove/delete this?

Wordfence is telling me that:
” File appears to be malicious: wp-content/uploads/dolly.php ”
it also states: “…Not a core, theme or plugin file”

I turned off all cache plugins and tried to change logo again and nothing happened?

Strangly, I did nothing and all is fine now. I can log in fine. The site works fine. Both desktop and mobile work normal. It was slow the first day I noticed the issue and after that no bugs.
Either way, I am grateful for this great site and helpful members!

well.. now I was able to log in but wordpress is slow responding as well as my site is up again but also slow and sometimes white screen when I try to go to another page.

Yes. Didn’t do anything

Yes it shows in general. My theme I have loaded isn’t showing.
It should be logo first (centered), then two rows of menu, then the artwork.
What shows now is a default theme or something, I not sure.

A couple thoughts that may be effecting this:

1. In the “WP Super Cache Settings” I have this warning. “Warning! Garbage collection is not scheduled!”
As I mentioned in the first post I did have and then deactivated the “wp-touch” plug-in.

2. My header logo is a animated gif. I don’t know if that is causing issues with it displaying correctly?

Any body with suggestions would be awesome!

I figured it out. I made 2 menus and the second one was for categories but I assigned each art piece its own page and added it to the category menu and it worked great.
