Perfect thank you.
I will thanks – I’m fairly sure it didn’t work for 2.3.11 but it’s possible I didn’t check. I’ll look again next time you publish an update and I’ll create a new topic if it doesn’t work.
Thanks yes I did post the original problem to the TOC author but no response yet. I’ve just updated to 2.3.11 the problem remains.
By the way before I update any plugin, I click the view details link on the main plugin page to see what’s in the update. For your plugin nothing is ever displayed. I get the overall pop up layout with the 2 background colours, but no content.
Hi I’ve now updated to 2.3.10 and the problem is still there. If I use only the [toc] shortcode it works fine, if I add a calendar shortcode, the toc disappears.
I’m now working with the operational site, so the page which shows the issue is a test page at https://www.cockfield.org.uk/new-cc-page/
The shortcode on the page is
[ai1ec view=”posterboard” events_limit=”10″ cat_name=”Community Council”]Thanks I’ll look out for 2.3.9 and let you know how it goes.
Thanks Tracy, look forward to the next update!
Regards,
Neil
Hi Tracy thanks for responding so promptly with this. Whilst I can imagine that a parameter to turn recaptcha on or off per shortcode is useful, this does not address my problem statement above.
My issue is that with recaptcha turned on ‘globally’ within the plugin, in my situation where I have 3 signup forms on 1 page, only the first instance of the form shows recaptcha.
The site is live now so my original url will no longer work. We’ve worked around it by moving 2 of the instances to separate pages. But this is a clumsy for the user so I’d like to get this fixed if possible. So I’ve set up a test page which simply has a shortcode for each of the 3 forms in 1 cell of a single Pagebuilder row.
You can find it at https://www.christmastreefestivals.org/a-sign-up-test
I have updated the plugin to 6.0.3.2 and added recaptcha=”1″ to each shortcode. Here’s one of the shortcodes copied and pasted:
[yikes-mailchimp form=”1″ recaptcha=”1″]
The other 2 are the same with form id 2 and 3.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Pagebuilder structure lostThank you! I had a brain bypass forgetting that contrary to what I’d said above, I did add a plugin around that time. I deactivated that plugin and the Page Builder structure returned to normal.
So there is a conflict between Page Builder 2.2 and Portfolio Slideshow 1.10.0.
I’ll post this on the Portfolio Slideshow support forum as well.
What’s interesting is that whilst Page Builder is available to use on any page, there is only one page containing the slideshow shortcode, nothing else, and it’s on the main edit page, not using Page Builder.
If you aware of a slideshow plugin which you know to be compatible with Page Builder that would be helpful. I’ve used Portfolio Slideshow before because it offers an auto or manual slideshow plus clickable thumbnails of the slides. I’m sure there must be plenty of other plugins which do that.
Regards.

In reply to: [Maps Widget for Google Maps] Lightbox View Controls InactiveHi, finally got around to following your advice. I renamed the colorbox.css file in slideshow gallery (yours seems to be part of a gmw css file, not actually named colorbox). This solved the map issue and so far I’ve found no other issues with the site, so thank you.

In reply to: [WP-DownloadManager] Compatibility with Black Studio TinyMCE widgetDo you mean download from github, or delete plugin from my wp dashboard and re-add? If the former presume I need to use e.g. FileZilla to replace plugin files as there isn’t a version upgrade via WordPress?

In reply to: [WP-DownloadManager] Compatibility with Black Studio TinyMCE widgetThere is also a conflict with the plugin WP Editor Widget, which ironically is the one I tried as a replacement for tinymce above. It doesn’t generate an error message as it did with tinymce, but the Editor widget plugin text edit region is inactive, not clickable. Once I de-activated Download Manager the Editor widget plugin worked. I don’t know if the same fix as above would apply to this conflict, that’s outside my area of expertise!

In reply to: [WP Editor Widget] Cannot edit into widget visual areaHi, the plugin which is causing the conflict is WP Download Manager. In fact prior to switching to WP Edit and WP editor widget, I also recently got an error with Black Studio tinymce widget on a different site which was also caused by WP Download Manager. This is discussed in this thread.
The temporary fix will appear as a permanent update in a future release of WP Download Manager, but of course I can’t say if that fix is the same as required to fix the conflict with WP Editor Widget. I applied the fix to one of my other sites. In the next day or 2 I’ll try the same fix on the site I am reporting here to see if it fixes this issue too.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Editor Widget] Cannot edit into widget visual areaHi Thx for getting back promptly. Sorry, I should have given you more info in the first place. I’m running WP 3.9.1 on Firefox / Win 7 HP. I tried switching to WP 2012 theme which made no difference.
I’ve just deactivated all plugins except WP Edit and your plugin, and the problem disappears. So over the course of the next few days I’ll see if I can home in on which other plugin is causing the conflict.
It’s not operationally urgent, as the site supports the PC classes I run in my local community, and we are currently in recession.

In reply to: [WP-DownloadManager] Compatibility with Black Studio TinyMCE widgetI’ve added the extra line to the php file as suggested by Marco and the widget is now working. Presume from what you say that the fix will show up in WP in the next Download plugin upgrade?
Thanks for the fix, I’ve now got around to applying it and it seems to be working. I’ll post to the Download plugin support as well.
