I’m using same free host that you said.
At first time I was able for install specific template (SK WHITE), and once I tried to do some changes my site was unavailable, so my unique opportunity was delete all content in the ftp and load again for to install WordPress from Scratch.
I wonder what you did for resolve the issue?, I’m facing similar problem trying to install different templates too.
