Wow, thank you for such a thorough answer! You’ve saved me hours of tweaking to get the menu to look just right. Now I know how to do this for some of my other sites too.

Thanks for your response. That doesn’t seemed to have worked for some reason. On the other hand, the client asked that I move the navigation back under the image, so that does solve part of the problem.

Success! I swore I tried this already but I input the code from this forum and it worked.

Bummer. I know this is probably a simple fix but I’m pretty new to Child Themes and changing code.

I am using Firebug. The only code I tried changing the “body” color but cannot isolate the element that controls the content area and sidebar.
