In reply to: [Accept Stripe Payments] French words in the Payment Popup?Hey Alex!
Wordpress forum didn’t tell me there was an answer!
I came by myself to checkThank you for the very clear explanations.
Indeed, there are 2 French languages displayed in Loco Translate.
I’ve chosen the right one you said
But Sync failed.
with a very long paragraphI repeated the process, always the sync failed.
with this very long paragraphSo I tried the other French language with “System” in Folder column and not “Author” But same : “Error sync”
I notice there is this message above Sync Button :
” Debugging: The translations do not match the model. Please start synchronization to update from stripe-payments.pot ”So,
I’ve gone ahead on yours instructions, with “Relocate” etc … it works!!!
But “Name” and “Same billing and shipping info” are still in English in the popup payment
And Sync doesn’t want to work, so not able to save any syncThen,
I click on Edit template in Loco Translate, and I arrive on that stripe-payments.pot
So I click on the Sync button on that page but same ‘Error sync” with a long paragraphIn the Settings of the Loco Translate plugin, I found this in red color :
Ajax test result:
FAILED: {“data”:{“ping”:”\u039f\u039a \u2713″,”utf8″:”\u2713″}Maybe that is the cause but I cannot understand that stuff ??

In reply to: [Accept Stripe Payments] French words in the Payment Popup?Same.
“Name” “Address” “Postcode” “Country” “Credit or debit card” “Billing info”
stay in English, not translated.French people might be suspicious to see mixed english and french.
I have contacted Stripe,
I had someone who seemed not to know what to answerShe sent me this link :
https://stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout/customizationTalking about “Stripe checkout” which is another system I guess
The inner system from Stripe, to replace any plugin(I’m sorry, I don’t really know the specific “dev” vocabulary)
For me it looks so complicated to try that solution…
I’m keen on using this user friendly plugin hereI don’t really know what to do

Stripe
Hello,
We wanted to remind you about required changes to your Stripe integration. We estimate that 97% of your yearly payments volume could be impacted by new Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements being introduced for European payments.
Although we anticipate a gradual enforcement of SCA, we expect the first banks to start declining payments that aren’t SCA ready on 14 September. As a result, we still recommend updating your integration before then to help avoid increases in declined payments. Our SCA-ready solutions will only start applying authentication when it’s required by the cardholder’s bank—taking into account each country’s enforcement timeline to minimise friction.
Visit the Dashboard to see your SCA recommendations and start updating your integration.

Hello,
We wanted to remind you of the changes you need to make to your Stripe integration to prepare for the upcoming requirements of the SCA.
Although we expect SCA to be phased in, we expect banks to start declining payments without two-factor authentication by September 14th.
The information we have indicates that you are currently using Stripe Payments for Magento for some of your payments with Stripe. Stripe Payments for Magento has released an update to prepare for SCA. To avoid an increase in payment refusals, you must install the latest version of Stripe Payments for Magento and make sure any other Stripe plugin or integration you have is ready for SCA by September 14th.
Check out the Dashboard for instructions on how to upgrade Stripe Payments for Magento and other changes before September 14th.

If in doubt, please visit our customer service site for answers to frequently asked questions about SCA and contact our customer service.
Regards,
The Stripe team

In reply to: [Accept Stripe Payments] SCA complianceOh wow. Really short term before the end… Will we need to learn doing something or the update will be enough? I’m not a dev at all, pretty anxious about that from April, when Stripe begins to alert us.

In reply to: [Accept Stripe Payments] SCA complianceHi team, deadline for SCA compliance is in 1 month now.
We receive alerts from Stripe.
Is all we need to do is to update the plugin? (when it’ll be the case)?
I’m following this thread mentionned

In reply to: [Accept Stripe Payments] Android Pay check outHello,
Just received a payment via Android pay and still no name no address
For a physical product, these informations are neededI have asked STRIPE, here is their answer :
Abbie O. 09:20
I just checked your logs and can see the integration is built by them for this so this is something that would need to be set up on their end. Collecting name and address is optional with Android Pay so they would need to ensure that is set up for you. I can’t see into their integration process on my end. I would suggest waiting for their reply. They will be able to get that set up for you. You can also feel free to link them to this documentation: https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-buttonThank you.
