installed another fresh copy of wordpress on localhost was still able to reproduce the error.

yes i can access other plugins at admin.php?page=plugin-name but not currencyr.

The settings link under the plugin, takes to admin.php?page=currencyr

when I changed this URL to options-general.php?page=currencyr I was able to access the settings page.

The plugin itself, widgets and all plugin functionality is working.

yes i am the administrator of all the sites.

was able to reproduce error on local dev environment as well as two live sites. all running wordpress 3.5

I have browsed several threads on this topic, how to change sidebar color in twentyeleven. After trying myself with the CSS and looking at some solutions offered on forums. I have reached the conclusion that it is not possible to change the sidebar color in TwentyEleven without making major changes to .widget and entire layout.

The developers left no room for it. I am not sure if this counts as a bug. Since I am no expert, but I think it would be nice if some one with expertise looked into it and if thats the case then we can probably report it as a bug or find a detailed solution.

@jay thanks and yes, you are right, buddypress has all the functionality of P2 and more. You are also right that it is a complex beast thats why I didn’t want to play with it, but it seems like I must tame the beast now.

Thank you for letting me know about the update. Actually I was reviewing the plugin to write a blog post about maps plugins. I will update the post with latest information about this bug being fixed and the new release.

When I tried using the plugin, after activation menu buttons from post editor disappeared. Tried it on two different installations with same result. I had visual editor disabled for one user so I enabled it and I was able to see the map quest button. Can you please provide a fix for that? Also it will be best if the plugin gets updated because it seems like it has not been updated for a while and people will stop trying it if they see that it has not been developed actively.

To display email subscription box you will need to sign up for feedburner or similar service provider. Then the feedburner will provide you email subscription form code on their website. It will be under Publicize tab. Copy and paste this code in a TEXT widget on your website.

To display an RSS link button in a text widget here is what I do:

I find an RSS image icon suitable to my site’s design and placement.

Then I upload that image to my wordpress installation. In the left sidebar under your blogs admin section you will see a link “Media” go there and upload your rss image icon.

Once the image is uploaded it will you the path to that image file on your webserver.

now add this code to a text widget in your sidebar: Replace yoursite.com with your blogs adddress and image path with the location of RSS icon on you uploaded.
