In reply to: Godaddy WordPress MuAndrea_r is right, the dedicated ip directs users to the base install of WPMU (bdomain.com) and any subdomain will be seen as a part of that base install. In order to overcome this, you’d have to move the base install up one level in your domain hierarchy (e.g. something.bdomain.com) and let the wildcard point to the next level of subdomain for your multiple sites (e.g. site1.something.bdomain.com, site2.something.bdomain.com). That would allow you to create another base install at a different subdomain (e.g. somethingelse.bdomain.com).

In reply to: Accessing localhost wordpress fromother ComputerIt would help to know what O/S your installation was on. It sounds like a permissions issue, or you may need to modify your hosts file.

In reply to: Nothing but WordPress? There are a couple plugins that will allow you to insert PHP into your pages, but they will reside in your template. This would solve your problem with page errors.
HTML is natively supported on posts (there’s a tab for html) but again this is within your template.

In reply to: I am trying to be patient…I’m right there with you Ambergris75. I posted a plugin specific question two weeks ago and haven’t had any response, now I’m wondering what to do next? I would figure the plugin owner would at the very least be looking, but I guess not.
So what do people think? If you’re not supposed to bump or double post, how in world do you solve a problem that you can’t figure out yourself?

In reply to: Exclude specific POST comments from RECENTI would go into the post and disable comments for that post, then they won’t show up in the sidebar widget. I don’t know of a way to specifically exclude comments from one post in the Recent Comments. But someone else may…

In reply to: Exclude specific POST comments from RECENTWhy don’t you just delete those comments? Or are you trying to accomplish something by keeping them?

In reply to: [Plugin: Contact Form 7] Really Simple CaptchaAnyone else resolve this issue? I’ve having the same problem, I’ve double checked all permissions are correct, the appropriate upload folder is there, my form syntax matches, gd and freetype are installed, everything seems to be created correctly but the captcha image won’t show. The one difference I have is that I’m running WPMU 2.8.4a but I can’t see how that would make a difference. Any ideas?
Thanks

In reply to: Plugin to upload posts from MS Access?I found the solution to this not in an Access to WP bridge but rather in the CSV Importer plugin. Works like a charm.
