Not sure why you call this design “Imageless”. There’s a header and buttons (Search, read more, etc). That being said the colours need a little more Pop, maybe a touch in the header.

I’m using Custom Query String, Image Manager, WP Lightbox Plus, Video Pop, and WP-Fatter. A small number of plugins, but they add so much to your site.

Textpattern is very versatile, well organized, and ascetically designed. There is a learning curve as the two programs are set up quite differently structure-wise, but wordpress has many more features at the moment, so depending on what your design includes it might be a better choice in the end. Have a look at both plugin options and good luck!

Does this plugin make changes to the post before it is entered in the database or make the changes each time the post is called on your webpage?

Nice use of colour, I’m in agreement that the top nav is too busy and detracts form the rest of the design. Maybe move some of the navigation choices down to the sidebar?

It’s a very nice theme, one of my favourites to come out of the competition.

I started using it the other day, had to make the font a touch bigger on the top nav bars, but it’s spiffy to say the least. Anything to spruce up the WP admin is appreciated! If only WP could have the spanky admin interface of textpattern but still retain all the flexibility of WordPress I’d be in heaven!
