I had the same issue… when I went in to my Gmail account >> manage my account >> security tab.

I had to turn on the “Less secure apps” toggle and then it worked. Seems there might of been a security update from Google.

Are you using the “other smtp” Gmail config?

It’s in the general settings of WP Bakery. Simple tick box that says “Disable Gutenberg Editor”…. and your done ??
