In reply to: [WP LinkedIn Auto Publish] Cannot get image feature to appear in postHi @disruptive,
Thanks for that confirmation. We have had some reports of this in the past. We have addressed a solution for this through the pro version called AutoSocial: https://northernbeacheswebsites.com.au/autosocial/
It has a feature called delay mode which shares a post a couple of minutes after the post has been been published and this should ensure the image gets through to LinkedIn ok. We have found that sometimes when sharing the link to LinkedIn, that LinkedIn crawls it so quickly that by the time LinkedIn looks at it, the image is not available and this can cause issues. So this is why we developed delay mode which took some time and it resolves this issue. If the pro version doesn’t work for you, I would be happy to provide you with a full refund. In reply to: [WP LinkedIn Auto Publish] Cannot get image feature to appear in postHi @disruptive,
So just to confirm, when you share the same post a second time, the new share on LinkedIn does include the image?
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP LinkedIn Auto Publish] Cannot get image feature to appear in postHi @disruptive,
I am not sure if you answered my question right. What I am asking is if you share the same post again via the plugin does it share with an image the second time? This is an important test. Please don’t assume it will do the same thing again. Because what I am testing here is whether the issue has to do with the discovery of the image immediately after publishing. Because if your 2nd share did work ok with the image, I might be able to provide a possible solution. If the image didn’t work both times, it may require more investigation.
If you have done this already, my apologies for misunderstanding. Thanks,

In reply to: [WP LinkedIn Auto Publish] Company Page Not ShowingHi @clementlanoe,
I could be mistaken but it does very much sound like a permission issue for the LinkedIn page for this particular user. You can remove our app for the user, but I gut feeling this probably won’t do anything. You can remove the application from LinkedIn using this link: https://www.linkedin.com/mypreferences/d/categories/privacy you obviously need to be logged into the users account whilst visiting this link. You can also try deleting the plugin settings. You can do this by going to the “Help” tab in the plugin settings and then see the question “How do I clear all plugin settings?” (obviously take note of any customisations you have done to the settings before clicking this link).
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP LinkedIn Auto Publish] I installed WPML and problemHi @sorinexu,
I recommend perhaps deleting all plugin settings which can be done from the FAQ on the plugin settings page (take note of any customisations you have done to the settings before hand). Then re-authenticate again, and then hopefully it will just share to the company once.
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP LinkedIn Auto Publish] I installed WPML and problemHi @sorinexu,
Thanks for raising this issue. We haven’t done any testing with WPML yet, so I can see how what you are saying could be an issue. I would recommend for now manually selecting, unselecting each post you want to share and to not use our ignore category feature. If I get more time in the future, I will look at developing a solution for this; I just have very little resources unfortunately. Thank you,

In reply to: [Auto Publish for Google My Business] 400 invalid argumentOk in this case I am not sure sorry. You may wish to consider getting the pro version called AutoSocial which includes more robust support for your specific site to ensure everything works well. If something like this didn’t work on AutoSocial, you would be entitled to your money back.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Auto Publish for Google My Business] 400 invalid argumentHi Mike,
Ok it might be worth doing a plugin isolation test if possible by deactivating all other plugins and then trying. Thanks,

In reply to: [Auto Publish for Google My Business] 400 invalid argumentHi @defxs,
Thanks for sending the screenshot. Ok this is strange, I haven’t seen a report this like this before. Have you tried disabling other plugins and seeing if the share works?
When you get that error: invalid argument is that shown on the screen when you try and share the post?
How old is this post or is it a pretty new post? Have you tried re-authenticating the plugin by clicking the connect button in the plugin settings? Thanks,

Can you please send a screenshot so I can see what you mean?

In reply to: [Auto Publish for Google My Business] 400 invalid argumentHi @defxs,
To clarify you are trying to use your own shortcodes in the share message template? At the moment the plugin doesn’t support custom shortcodes, just our own pre-build shortcodes.
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP Custom Admin Interface] Capability/Permission issueHi @marianaviana,
I am so glad you were able to come up with a workaround using the advanced functionality; this is exactly why I put that in there, so I am glad you put that to good use.
Also, if you ever want to fully delete the settings created by the plugin, please go to the “Manage Settings” submenu item of our plugin, and then click “Delete Plugin Settings” and then you can actually choose what modules settings you want to delete. So you can just delete the custom menu settings and that will give you a true start from scratch experience. Thanks,
