Yes and no. I would like to display on the (resent posting widget) on another page of my sit out side the wordpress folder. Posting the side menu will do, but if I can get some type of code just to pull the (resent posting) that would be better. I searched through the code to see if I can change it and use it on another page in the same root site.

If I can do both that would be great, display the side menu out side the folder on the same website, and just post the resent postings text on a page outside the folder.

Okay I got the blank image to appear but how do users sign up so it appears on my site.

I have an idea, I was able to add ads within the site on different pages at the top under the header. The way I did that was in my web designer program saved the index.php file as category pages example category-1.php category-2.php etc. Each category page must match the category-?.php file. Then upload. But first put in the ads at the top of this file and it should show under the header. If you put different ads, then they will show on different pages, you can leave the index.php file blank, or ad ads there, yet they will show on all default pages. You can do this with the side bars as well. I used all google ads for the side bars, example sidebar-1.php etc. Works the same way. See how I did it here. https://northeastsurfing.com/blog/

To ad them with in the pages, you need to find the file that controls them I think single.php I am not sure but I guess if you added a single-1.php etc. this should work.

I could be wrong because of the set up of wordpress, hope this helped.

I am having the same problem. I installed, and I activated it, I can see the plugin, but it wont show up on the write page anyone can help?

Sweet thanks very much. I really needed three areas where I can have users log in and post information from reports, news, to a blog and wordpress has help me a lot. thanks again.

I did delete code in the index.php file that reads and links to the below where I put the words blank, I cant remember the code, any ideas?

Your advice above seamed like a easy fix I added code and it did not work. I added in single.php
