But you have to set the redirection for EVERY role. Manually.

There isn’t an option to set a default redirection for ANY role that doesn’t have a specific override in TML.

Easy Image handling in BuddyDocs would be amazing.

Just putting my vote in for it as well.

I also am seeing this in my window since I have debug turned on..

This just started happening with the latest update to IF MENU.

I too am having the same problem. In one of my sites, it’s giving at error like the above. I have not yet tried disabling plugins.

On another site that is basically new, there’s no error on the console, but the interface never loads. This is with or without plugins.

It just is stuck on Loading…

A few minutes later, this pops up in the console.

    Hi ya,
Sadly it does not seem to go back the other way.

If I change the First Name field in the WP Profile, it does not push it back into the BP First Name field I have set up.

I am running Multisites, with BP network activated.

BP is sharing its data across the sites. I haven’t tried to segment them to be separate.

I have debug turned on but I’m not seeing any error messages in the browser.

    WP 4.9.5, BP 2.9.4

I have this set in my wp-config.php

    define( ‘BP_ENABLE_MULTIBLOG’, true );

All that should do is keep the user in the site that they are in for viewing profile information. Rather than kicking them out to the default site.

    Thanks,
    Norm

The Redirection section of this plugin lets us set a redirection per role after login.

Most of the time, I would want every role to redirect to the same place after logging in. eg. the home page

But you have to explicitly set every role to the redirection that you want. Since the default redirection is to the WP profile page.

But WordPress doesn’t let us set a default redirection (AFAIK) without using another plugin or adding code to the functions.php.

So if this plugin could handle setting the default WordPress redirection as well, that would be really helpful.

    Or am I missing something?

    Cheers,
    Norm

    Bumping this request.

This functionality should really be native to Buddypress.

But since it isn’t, being able to see and sync all the profile fields is essential.

    Premium worthy even.

    Cheers,
    Norm

    Hi ya,
Actually, I discovered that this was really a kind of security/initialization issue?

I was checking for presence in Buddypress immediately I knew they had created an account.

    And they were not there.

BUT, once they logged in the first time, then they showed up.

So it’s actually something in the initialization of the Buddypress profile.

So I really think not your problem…

    Cheers,
    Norman

    Hi ya,
So I dug around a bit more.

    I have also enabled:

    define( ‘BP_ENABLE_MULTIBLOG’, true );

So that users aren’t taken to another sub site when tweaking profiles…

    Does that have an effect?

    Cheers,
    Norm

Sorry for the long delay in replying.

I’ve got BuddyPress network activated like this:

    ———
Activate at the network level for full integration with all sites in your network. (This is the most common multisite installation type.)
    ———

I’ve got BP XProfile WordPress User Sync activated as a network activation…

Perhaps I should try individual site activation?

    Thanks,
    Norm

    Thanks for that.

I hadn’t realised that was possible. (Gosh, I’m out of PHP practise)

The emails are fresh and unread.

This is a my email server. Not Gmail or Office365 or any other service.

How long should it take for WSDesk to check the IMAP server?

ANd what schedule does it do it on? Just when a user accesses the site?

So if I hit refresh on the Tickets page, should it go and check the IMAP server?

    Thank you. Very helpful

Hey ya. I tried uninstalling, then reinstalling, and that seemed to work.

Although now there are a number of rouge capabilities related to WSDesk that don’t have a role, that are showing up in the Roles page. (I have the Members plugin installed in order to be able to control roles)

If I wanted to start with a completely clean slate (ie. No WSdesk information left over anywhere) how would I do that. SO I can be 100% sure I’m starting from a clean slate.
