Yes, as I said in my post above, it’s pretty essential to allow ANY allowed character in an email address.
You can see here references to allowed characters in email addresses.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_address
Your system should really support any email address that complies with the standards.
Thanks
That comment was made from inside the admin interface. And inside the admin interface, there is no option to create stars. So whatever that star rating is, I didn’t enter it.
From the user side, there are no stars showing.

In reply to: [Recencio Book Reviews] Is there a way of applying a filter to taxonomies?True, but correct me if I’m wrong, there is no way to filter to that taxonomy (Region) and then display the books from that filtered list?
Fair enough! Thanks.
Oh and then when I try to make a comment, it comes back and says:
Sorry, comments are closed for this item.
I have no idea why
Hmmm… I have enabled that setting, but it only shows the ability to leave a comment.
And the comment doesn’t have any star ratings there.
Yeah, but that’s entering the data twice…. Hardly ideal
Ah, I mean add a review to an existing review.
So if one person creates a Book review, then others can add onto that same Book review.
Thanks
But the 5 star rating is ALWAYS there. So if I ignore it in favour of the criteria system, then the ratings will show up on Google as 0.
Mind you, I can’t see where the 5 star rating appears. Or it seems like it appears on the book image in the review page, but it only shows one star, even though the stars are set to be 5.
You can see that here:
https://sffanz.nz/review/ancestral-machines/
You can also see that if I set the criteria of the Rating to stars, then the stars flow over the text beside it. And the text beside it is also the start of the review. Since the rating is at the bottom of the review anyway, having the text is not useful…
Thanks
Mmm…. OK. I’ll keep playing. Thanks.
And thanks for the point at the Help dropdown. That’s helpful

Actually, can you point me at where I can associate categories with groups?
I found it once, but now I can’t find it again, and your Support website doesn’t seem to have any information about doing this.
So I found that if I have a plus “+” in the email address, then the confirmation fails.
eg if my address is [email protected]
and I put in:
Then the confirmation will fail. This is independant of what plugins are running.
Being able to put in a “+” into an email address is pretty much essential since it’s an allowed character, and it’s very useful with Gmail addresses to be able to add a “+” so that we can use a working email address, and add a “+test” or similar so that we can subscribe using a working email address.
Thanks

In reply to: [Gutenberg] AMAZING!!!I’m genuinely curious why would find this good. Compared to the Classic Editor it has removed massive amounts of functionality.
The blocks idea is better but it has been done better by any number of other Page Editors.
As I said, none of those work.
It won’t even change it to a link. It ignores that option.
I’m running Multisite. Does the plugin support multisite?
Sure.
