Spitze!

(Priorit?ten: 1, 3, 11, 12).

    Grüsse

Maybe I should open a new thread for my “problem” because it’s now more about translating and get it locale than button customization.

Hmm … that didn’t solve the problem. I created missing locale po-files. But with de_DE_formal the button text is still “Buy now” (english instead german).
With de_DE the button text will translated well in “Jetzt kaufen”.

The folder /wp-content/languages/ contains following files:
    de_DE.po
    de_DE_formal.po
    admin-de_DE.po
    admin-de_DE_formal.po
    admin-network-de_DE.po
    admin-network-de_DE_formal.po
    continents-cities-de_DE.po
    continents-cities-de_DE_formal.po

    /wp-content/languages/plugins/
    woocommerce-de_DE.po
    woocommerce-de_DE_formal.po
    woocommerce-admin-de_DE.po
    woocommerce-admin-de_DE_formal.po
    woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout-de_DE.po
    woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout-de_DE_formal.po
    woocommerce-germanized-de_DE.po
    woocommerce-germanized-de_DE_formal.po

Everything except “woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout-de_DE_formal.po” works perfect with german de_DE_formal. WordPress and WooCommerce speak formally german. Great! Only WGPEC switches buttons woocommerce text (from here comes the “buy now” text) back to english when I choose de_DE_formal.
With normal de_DE it works and the button will be translated. But this variant of speech isn’t reasonable inside my website.

Is it possible, that WGPEC isn’t prepared for this case? WP and Woo can handle it.

    Thank you!

Update: I did could find problems source. In my case its about the language files. In german are two forms of speech and language possible. One more friendly and confidential and the other more distanced and formally. WordPress is prepared for this case which causes errors sometimes. Anywhere there lays my problem.
I use this more distanced and formally kind of speech inside my webshop. When I switch to the more friendly (default) one, the button is translated. So I guess I need to create new more formally language versions of all woocommerce integrated plugins. So far I just only transelated woocommerce. That is obviously not enough.

    Hello,

same problem here. I need the button translated in german. But inside your language-file isn’t a “Buy Now” phrase to find. It’s only this small detail. My website is ready. Only the right localization of your express checkout button is missing. What did I do wrong? Can you help? That would be great.

    Thank you
