HI, I’m sorry I got very busy and didn’t have time to take this on. I just tried your last suggestion. I deactivated all my plugins, changed the Override thumbnail settings to “yes” and re-loaded the page. The problem still is there. I have not changed themes however as that is not an option for me. It worked just fine for a year with this theme and then suddenly stopped working. Sigh…

Also is the $25 to upgrade to Pro a one time or an annual fee. If I can’t link to the folder this plugin won’t work for my purposes but otherwise I like it a lot.

Thank you for your continued patience. The problem is not that the images take a long time to render it is that they do not render at all. In the grid/thumbnail view they render almost instantly. But when I I choose “override thumbnail settings.” the images don’t load at all.

Thank you but I’ve tried that and when I save it none of the images display. I have a screen shot to show you what I mean, but don’t see any way to attach it here. I’ve reverted to the grid as I don’t want my page to appear corrupted while I figure this out.

In addition if I want to edit the title or description from within the post page if I click on say the title the entire thing disappears. I do not seem to be able to edit it just retype. If I do that then I can edit it from within the post. Is this normal?

Thank you purplecodes. I consulted our IT staff so had it fixed before you looked. If anyone else is having that problem it is a small piece of code inserted in the Theme header that fixed the problem <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=edge”> It instantly solved the problem.
