post_tags.phps appears from the explanation and comments at mtdew to be an admin side element to insert tags in posts, rather than a sidebar feature, although the php may have some of the features for a Tagroll. Others will know better. Thanks for the pointer.

Unless it’s in quotes, etc. – I wouldn’t try WGET WELL but “WGET” WELL is definitely a go. Actually, just snuck “Lynx” in with quotes in new and older post.

Probably not a coincidence that ‘lynx’, ‘curl’ and ‘wget’ word errors are problems having to do with other functions relating to the above, but ‘links’ and ‘get’ from the above are obviously getting processed.

Testing for php code: both Serendipity and Nucleus at opensource demo have the same ‘before lynx’ (ok) and ‘lynx after’ (ng) behavior as mentioned above when placed in title and post of each. No php solutions there … does anyone think there will be – or is one – for WP?

Words following ‘lynx’ and ‘curl’ are a problem. ‘before lynx’ term saves, but not ‘lynx after’ in my 1.0, also in 1.5 at demo. podz, did you solve the problem you found with ‘curl’ a few days ago?

That crossed my mind, but it gets through sometimes – well, looking back, once – https://nommune.com/archives/2005/6/19/tall-ships-schedule-previews-in-port-angeles/ – as the link name ‘Privateer Lynx”. Is this correctible or will WordPress just have to sink the Lynx?

I was successful in https://phpfi.com/67236 by deleting the first two text paragraphs above and below the img tag in the post mentioned above – I don’t think anything else. It had the Lynx link name.

Kitta is upgrading her WordPress at this time – https://www.kitta.net/ – but I noticed the index.php seemed to be followed by “?=blabla.html” some days back when the site was mentioned in the WP Dev Blog for Bloggies award. It might be something of a hack that applies to calling the static page?

Just a note: I have multiple domain names pointing to different categories by their name, with the domains linking to the category, redirected at registrar. Technorati interprets the categories with domains as inbound blogs to the main https://nommune.com site – I can tell easily because of the difference between 0 and 1.
I anticipate multiple blogs in the short term as installing multiple blogs. Although I use the ‘admin’ to edit the one at present, posting to multiple blogs might be easier through w.bloggar or some such posting manager. I have read that multiple blogs is a direction for WordPress. Nucleus advertises multiple blogs, but I didn’t find the interface as clear prior to trying WP and didn’t get very far even with one blog due to not finding the design customization procedures very evident. WP testimonials attest to the availablity of this feature in the WP (admin).
One thing I have thought of regarding multiples is accessing a common template, or css, in a higher directory. Wikki Tikki Tavi – https://tavi.sourceforge.net – has some approaches to central installation for hosting multiple copies which might be of interest, besides being a very URI and FreeLink vs. FreeLink flexible wiki development.
