GoDaddy won’t whitelist our domain on mod_security for those who use shared hosting plan…

I don’t know much about all these but in my case FB & Tweeter works fine with Godaddy, and those under OpenID Providers in plugin setting (Google, Yahoo, WordPress.com) don’t work.

So dear thenbrent, for the next update could you please give us a choice to have those three using API method just like FB and Tweeter, then all of the 5 would work for those poor GoDaddy users like me.

I tasted it by embedding the Google Earth widget using javascript. If I don’t use attributes then it works like a charm, see here. Otherwise it gives me that error message after clicking the custom insert button. (in this case I have no url to show you because I can’t insert anything to the post).

My settings are:

I also tested with only one attribute and it stops to work. Maybe I missed something.

By the way the “&” signs in the original javascrip were “&”, they are decoded by the plugin after I click save (anyways it works when I don’t use attributes).

If your using the alexrabe’s (Nextgen’s author) version of GalleryView then there is no setting panel. If you install the “WordPress NextGen GalleryView” plugin by John Brien then there will be a setting page.

Don’t let Next Gen Gallery resize your photos while uploading, or you will lose the geocode in the photo (go to Next Gen Gallery’s options, un-select “Automatically resize images on upload.”), this worked for me.

Have you solved the problem? I see all maps working on your post, except the second one which shows only trail without waypoints. No gray box!
The problematic one (second map) uses kml, maybe you wanna check if there are points defined in it.

I’m using exactly the same environment as goldrush76 (Godaddy, shared hosting). After changing to tar.gz compression method it works alright. Try it~
